Greenwald is a scholar of the constitution as well as deeply principled. He's put himself in the crosshairs with this leak.. and he knows exactly what he is doing. I've watched ALL of his lectures on you tube. "Liberty and Justice for some" being my favorites and which I highly recommend. If the Obama administration decides to come after him re this leak, they've got an uphill battle because none of them can hold a candle to his ethics. I love that he is not a politician. I love that he is not beholding to corporations. I support him a million percent because he supports the constitution...and understands it. I cant think of a person more capable of fighting this battle for us. .because he is doing it for us. Stay safe Glenn, we need you more than you will ever know.

OTOH, really smart and serious people think that's outdated and government has a role in censoring dangerous idea, like conspiracy theories. My 2-cents:

Greenwald maintains his consistent stand for transparency and accountability no matter who sits in the Oval Office.

(7,309 posts)Greenwald bashing seems to be popular here on a supposedly "progressive" message board. Some cling to servility to power, regardless of the what power entity we call parties holds sway in the White House.
It's the whole "root, root for your home team" syndrome that seems to be so prevalent among the masses, right or wrong be damned.
