The Silent Assassins

You see them every day. You pass them on the street. They are your friends. They are your family. But they are not who they appear to be.

They are assassins. They want to kill "big government". They want to kill the IRS. They want to kill taxes on the wealthy. They want to kill food stamps for the poor. They want to kill Social Security. They want to kill Medicare. They want to kill education. They want to kill the agendas of the blacks and the immigrants. They want to kill doctors that provide choices for women. They want to kill people that want to control their assault weapons. Literally, they want to kill people. And if their agenda were accepted, it would kill a lot of people. Some would just die more slowly.

Their leaders are not silent about it and it is no secret. They rant about it on the floors of the House and Senate. They preach about it on talk radio and right-wing television. They are proud of their agenda. They are proud conservatives, they say.

But the silent assassins are those followers that say nothing. They just go about their day. They turn on FOX TV and they turn on Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity and others and nod in agreement to their fellow travelers. They close their minds and their eyes to the rest of the world. They can't wait until election day. If that doesn't turn out the way they want, they are ready for their violent revolution. They are proud Republicans.

Why are they so full of hatred that they want to kill? Do they think of themselves as killers?

6. But, when Grandma gets cancer, they EXPECT that no treatment will be withheld from her

and that she will get assistance of every kind they can think of.. of course they will NOT want to (or be able to) pay out of pocket for it.


They also will EXPECT that if a weather-related incident happens to them, they will be first in line, with hand extended for that "check from Uncle Sam"...to help them rebuild.

They will also scream bloody murder if they find out that their pension is one of the ones that gets whacked in a corporate merger/bankruptcy.


They also will scream & holler when they get the notice that says they have to start paying for school bus transportation for their kids because the school district is broke.

7. They are due all these benefits because...

...they are hard workers that paid their taxes. Why should their taxes only go to those dead beat liberals?? They earned it. They think they should be first in line. But they are willing to kill all these programs if it will prevent someone less worthy than themselves from getting any help.

I have several of these anti government types in my family. A few are vets, three work for the government, and a couple others are retired from government jobs and receive benefits. They act on the behalf of billionaires who would cut their throats. They think its cause god would vote that way.

13. So true. I have born again relatives. They worship guns, and Fox news, and, oh yeah, Jesus.

And Jesus is a Republican, and Obama's not a Christian. At least a third of the country votes the way their preacher says, the other 10% are enjoying the spoils of exploitation of everyone else.
