Syria - Friday 10/02/2012
Videos and updates from around Syria. Towns with reported protests or on strike are marked in blue. Towns with updates alone are marked in green. Red markers show places which are under attack or where martyrs fell today.

(18,795 posts)3. RALLY IN SAIDA: LEBANON IN SUPPORT OF THE SYRIAN REVOLUTION.
A friend wrote: It was a 45 minute march on foot from the center where people gathered to the Square where the demo took place. It's almost the biggest demo in Lebanon so far. Men, women, children and Syrian refugees!!! I went with my mom, brother and father. All the people were chanting: "The people want to topple the regime." "We don't love you, we don't love you, go away, go away, you and your party." "May God protect the Free Syrian Army"."To die is better than to live humiliated". Today I got to taste a little bit of the Syrian Pride when I was standing next to a Syrian boy about 4 years old. He was shouting :"Syria wants freedom."
An 11year old Lebanese boy spoke for the Syrian children. A sick and elderly woman spoke for the Syrian mothers and women.
THANK YOU LEBANON.
