Romney: "The Obama presidency will be recorded as the last gasp of liberalism's great failure"

Also said "November 6th will be the single easiest day our next president will face."

He's memorized the words his handlers fed him but so far hasn't offered shit in terms of why the "base" should vote for him.

Trying to tear Obama a new asshole and simply coming up an asshole himself.

. . . and what's been going on for the past 31 years isn't even in the remote realm of "liberal".

Well, unless you're a member of the 1% . . . in which case money has "liberally" found it's way to your already canyon-deep pockets, whether through middle/working/poor wage suppression, tax breaks or corporate perks you voted for yourself.

There is no hope for him, he can't help it. He sounds insincere, like a kid giving a report on a book that he read half-assed. I don't think the man believes in anything.

historically we have been in a conservative cycle since before Reagan. Despite the fact I actually like Carter, some historians have suggested that Nixon was the last president of the new deal era. An era where people actually employed some of the positive aspects of government.

We have had at least 30 years of the cynical, idiotic, mendacious, greedy, business loving, government is bad nonsense. If this election cycle doesn't spell the end of conservative ideology then I think there is actual danger of the disintegration of America.

He's just trying too hard.

Or, more accurately, his handlers are trying too hard and Mitt's just aping the words, not really trying at all.

He said something like "I am going to Washington, I am going to fix government, and then I'm going home to the people I care about."

So if you changed that to "I am going to Washington, I am going to fix government, and then I'm going home to the people I care about," I'd have to say Mitt has a very clear pictue of what the rest of this year holds for him. It's not a matter if. It's a matter of when. And if he makes it all the way to the nomination and has to have his ass handed to him in November, all the better.
