NASCAR driver cares more about the poor and hungry than republican politicians.
Nice story and video of Jeff Gordon helping out during the NASCAR race weekend in Delaware.

NEWARK Jeff Gordons first stop in Delaware on Thursday was not to Dover International Speedway but to the Food Bank of Delaware.
The four-time Sprint Cup Series champion was welcomed by a room full of Food Bank and Chase Card Services volunteers. Gordon and Senior Director of Chase Card Services Ralph Pinto presented a donation of 36,000 meals to the food bank.
We, of course, feed people that are hungry. Thats our mission, said Patricia Beebe, president and CEO of the Food Bank of Delaware. And any time we have someone like Jeff embrace our cause and be a part of what were all about, it helps us feed more people, and thats always a good thing.
Donations will continue Sunday at the speedway. Fans will have the opportunity to pack 18,000 meals for older Delawareans in need. The assembled boxes will be donated to the Food Bank of Delaware following the Sprint Cup race.
The first 300 fans to show up to help pack meal boxes will have the opportunity to attend an invitation-only question-and-answer session with Gordon before the race. The event will be held in the Fan Zone outside of Turn 4 from 7-10 a.m.
