I hear and I forget, I see and I remember ...

I do and I understand. -Confucius

A friend of mine I argue with on a fairly regular basis is a lurker, mostly other places that talk finance and a side of politics but he lurks a bit on DU in LBN, GD and maybe Science, I don't think he's ever actually posted online on a forum of any sort.

He thinks he's got it all figured out, that he knows the best arguments.

But he never posts, never has his point of view torn to twitching shreds by a pack of merciless jackals who eat it while it's still screaming.

Bless his heart.

I too have experienced the pack-o-jackals thingie...but I got better. Your friend would most definitely receive a healthy dose of humility from posting in any forum imaginable - or is that indignation?
