Chocolate Beer

Would a Chocalate Beer sounds good.

"Reading Terminal Market is giving beer fans the opportunity to try something a little a new take on an old favorite.
The popular Philadelphia market, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary, is offering the first public tasting of "Engine 1892 Market Stout," a newly created, local chocolate stout beer.
The tasting begins this afternoon at 4 p.m.
The chocolate beer contains 70 percent cocoa from Reading Terminal Market's Chocolate by Mueller. A tap handle, specially designed, will be installed at Molly Malloy's for anyone of age who wants to give the beer a taste.
Reading Terminal Market will offer the chocolate beer through the end of the month.

I have serious issues with alcoholism and so cannot drink, but for those do not have problems with alcohol, having a chocolate beer sounds good.

It was very low in alcohol content but the flavor was excellent. It didn't taste like chocolate OR oatmeal - it was just full-bodied and full of flavor. Good shit.

I get a brand, occasionally, that they sell at World Market (Don't recall the name and I'm at work) and it's pretty good for something different. I wouldn't drink it regularly.

Chocolate stouts are amazing. Last year I tried a beer made with peanut butter. I'd like to combine the two and see what that's like.

It's a seasonal thing, around the holidays, and they've been making it for the last 15 years or so.
I look forward to it and buy a case every year.
One of my faves...

There's actually two breweries where I live - one's called "The Bruery" and the other is called "Bootleggers Brewery" - both quite literally mom & pop establishments - and they made a collaborative beer that was called Chocosaurus - and it was quite amazing.

I can't believe I never thought of that considering how much I love chocolate and raspberry together.

I know for a fact my local store carries both. I'm doing that.

Thanks!

I've had it at a couple of their anniversary beer fests. It is delicious, and you can really taste every component.
