because the Lady in the interview with Wolf Biltzer said she was an atheist.
I feel so bad for the people in the path of these storms. I live in tornado alley also and shutter every time there is an intimate situation like this. There is nothing humans can do when Mother Nature decides she wants to do damage.

And to the 6 members of the DU jury who apparently agree with this "progressive" equivalent of Fred Phelps.

(11,795 posts)I commented on that post, but I'm so annoyed that the entire jury didn't care about that abhorrent comment.
Ms. Toad
(34,074 posts)I hesitated to alert on it, since the responses when I alerted on the ones associated with the previous tornado were so abysmal. I finally decided it was worth risking a 24 hour ban on alerts and got back the instantaneous 0-6 results - so some other good citizen of DU is sitting in time out for that "frivolous" alert..

(11,795 posts)But thanks for alerting. These storms hurt my heart because they are random and devastating and the storms don't give a shit about politics.

(29,674 posts)I posted back and was jumped on by another poster.
An alert on that post came back 4-2 in favor of keeping it, even so far as to calling me "hypersensitive".

(34,074 posts)I hate it when it is so hard to distinguish the Fred Phelps of the world from the DU members. God/Mother Nature is punishing/schooling the "fags"/Republicans.

(29,674 posts)There are DUers who would be quite happy if anyone from the South or a flyover state was banned from DU. This place has become more and more about the coasts over the years-and not in a good way.
There was comments made after Joplin that were absolutely disgusting. I notice some of the same people have come back for comments about Moore. IMO, it should be banned but my opinion doesn't count for much around here.

That is if they took the same "message" as they did to the small camps there in Joplin.
Their "Missionaries" were out there to do nothing but make us relive the fear and terror as well as to tell us all it was ALL our fault.
