Really shows the hypocrisy of tv standards. Fined for showing a naked body, but ultraviolence and disturbing crime scene discriptions are a-okay.

(10,115 posts)because I was curious if they could outdo themselves week in and week out with something more perverse than the previous week. And as the weeks wore on not only were they pretty good of successfully being more perverse than the previous week, but that the writers had to be pretty demented to come up with this stuff. I gave up with the show after a couple of years.

(25,592 posts)The violence, on the other hand, is graphic and in your face. There is something very wrong with this country where blood and gore splattered scenes are more acceptable for children's viewing than showing skin, which we all have.

(90,061 posts)There is plenty of that too, but still not near as much as the simulated fornication, fellatio and cunnilingus, and what not that is popping up about every 5 minutes or so. More breasts that Playboy, I swear. No wonder the skin magazines went broke. The only thing that seems to be forbidden is explicit depictions of the sex organs, especially in action.
