All religious organizations should lose tax-exempt status.

Religious organizations in the US have manipulated their special status for two centuries. They have been allowed to grow into tax-free politically influential corporations. It is time that the financial specialness they enjoy be ended.

When religious organizations are politically active and succeed in changing policy, they should forfeit their protections.

If they have a lobbying arm that has to be separate and distinct from their for-profit arm. If it is not they lose their non-profit status and accompanying tax benefits. See: Defenders of Wildlife, Planned Parenthood, etc...

The Right-wing can't seem to keep the two separate, as evidenced by Komen and the Catholic Church.

You want separation of church and state so the state can't interfere. OK fine, we will remove ALL language that relates to any religion and remove all language from all laws that grant exemptions to any and all religions. There how do you like your separation of church and state now?

Did you know both the Duggars and Kris Jenner (Kardashians) are incorporated as "churches"? As is Fred Phelps, of course.
