Google will send you an Amazon gift card for completely giving up your online privacy

Google will send you a $5 Amazon gift card if you "add a browser extension that will share with Google the sites you visit and how you use them." Then they'll send you another $5 card every three months you keep the extension installed.

But if you want to go for the big money, they'll send you a special router for you to install. You'll get $100 upfront, and then $20 a month.

But hurry. This offer is limited.

Site popularity determines advertising rates, and that is valuable information.

What is wrong with paying people to do the same thing that people used to get paid to do with televisions?

I think a lot of people will be tempted. If you do it for a couple of years, it'll pay for a new computer.

a router that would let me connect to the internet with. I wonder if I could get one of these data collectors and connect it to the computer that I wouldn't be using except an occasional clik on an ad and get my money and monthly payments.

I have google blocked in my firefox preferences now and I do just fine so I will continue like this on my personal computer though.
