First Lady To Attend Boston Fundraiser For Markey, Meet With Bombing Victims

First Lady Michelle Obama on Wednesday will deliver remarks at a Boston fundraiser held by the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) on behalf of Democratic U.S. Senate hopeful Rep. Ed. Markey (D-MA).

While in Boston, Obama will visit the same victims of the Boston Marathon bombings she met last month, the White House announced. She will then press on to New York City, where she will speak at a pair of Democratic National Committee fundraisers.

President Barack Obama will also be on the fundraising circuit on Wednesday, as he is slated to head to Chicago for two events held by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).
