And it might dip below 40 degrees by early morning.
Brrr
This is obviously happening because I just stored my winter clothing away last week.

(9,791 posts)We had to cover the freshly planted veggies so I hope they all survive. A three day heat wave is in the forecast for later this week! Climate change deniers can bite me!

(11,649 posts)my friend in new york said it was cold yesterday, but warmed up today. we had a very cold winter in phoenix this year. i've been here more than 23 years and never experienced a winter with so many cold days. i hate the cold. rather have the summer with our 100+ days.

(25,523 posts)I'm in South Texas and can barely take our heat!
I wish I enjoyed our summers.
My favorite season here is winter, which is usually significant colder than Phoenix's winters.
This spring has not been too hot yet.
I'm glad that you enjoy summer.
I have a sister who loves the weather in Dubai. (Yikes!!)

(11,649 posts)i'd much rather have that than the cold. anything under 75 is too cold for me. it is dry except for july and august when we have the monsoon season and the dew point goes up -- then it's quite uncomfortable. right now it cools down at night but during the summer it's still 100 at midnight.

(9,474 posts)Temps are going to be in the 70's and 80's this week during the day, with 50's and 60's at night. I finally got some plants in the ground yesterday, and they are looking good this am, so am hopeful I can get the rest of the planting done this week.
It's been chilly, wet, and windy for the better part of Spring, and we're expecting more rain tomorrow. This time last year it was hot and dry with forrest fires. I think I like this weather better, considering we're surrounded by the George Washington and Jefferson National Forrests, and one big fire would wipe us off the map!
