Asean Johnson, 9-Year-Old Boy, Captivates Crowds At Chicago School Closings Protest (VIDEO)Amid the chaos of three days of protests regarding Chicago school closures, a pint-size public speaking star was born.
Nine-year-old Asean Johnson captivated crowds of protestors Monday, when he gave his two cents as to why hoards of Chicago schools should not be shut down.
You should be investing in these schools, not closing them. You should be supporting these schools, not closing them, Asean said amidst roaring applause. We shall not be moved today. Were going to city hall We are not going down without a fight.
Asean also voiced this controversial opinion: It is 90 percent of school closings [that affect] African Americans. This is racism right here."
His speech, which currently has more than 34,000 views on YouTube, has received the admiration of dozens of commenters.

Is it any wonder that the GOP wants to keep our children uneducated? They want to create generations of people, that are slow and stupid, to follow them where the lead.
It doesn't look like Asean wants to follow their playbook, he wants to lead, not follow.
They are our future.

all the way, she!
The Chicago Public School District announced its plan to close 54 schools in late March. However, new reports suggest that four of those schools -- including Asean's elementary school -- will be spared, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The Chicago School Board will hold a final vote on the issue this morning.
But, what about the others?
Thank you for the Vid, she.. Asean's not playin'!

I am glad Asean's school will be left open.
However, I don't believe that he is done with his fight yet. Asean has a very strong voice for one so small. From one voice we can have many.
His voice is so clear and bright. The children are our future! Let them shine.
