Monsanto is getting resistance from grassroots groups across the globe. There will be worldwide March Against Monsanto events worldwide.
The event in Kansas City will take place Sat, May 25, 10:00AM - 3:00PM at the JC Nichols fountain on 47th St.

"Earlier on Thursday, in an interview with The Huffington Post, Blunt said that the point of the provision was to protect farmers who had already purchased seeds that were later deemed unsafe. "I was raised -- my mom and dad were dairy farmers. Once you've made a decision to plant a crop for that year, you can't go back and undo that decision," he said".
If it was designed to protect the farmers why wasn't it written in a way that would have reimbursed the farmer for the seeds at Monsanto's expense or any other seed company that supplied seeds deemed unsafe.
