Pat Robertson identifies causes of Oklahoma disaster

poor home location and insufficient prayer.

http://www.opposingviews.com/i/society/video-pat-robertson-blames-tornado-victims-not-praying

Televangelist Pat Robertson was asked today on the '700 Club' about the tornadoes that have ravaged the Midwest and killed at least twelve people (video below).

He said that the storms weren’t an act of God, but instead turned it around on the victims, asking, “Why did you build houses where tornadoes were apt to happen?”

Robertson said the tornadoes may not have happened if enough victims had prayed: “If enough people were praying He would’ve intervened, you could pray, Jesus stilled the storm, you can still storms."

Robertson made no mention of whether or not he prayed for the victims or against the tornadoes.

he lives. At this point, every time he opens his mouth, something moronic emerges. Someone should tell him, I think.

A few years ago he would have blamed homosexuality. I guess he realized his audience is changing.

Robertson is not an idiot however idiotic he sounds. He gets up in the morning, looks in the mirror while fixing his tie, and asks himself how he can rip people off today.

You can't rip off someone who is standing there with an open wallet urging you to take their money!

He is lying to convince marginally intelligent people to part with their money "voluntarily."

He promises what he cannot deliver by threatening damnation. It is bad enough when someone actually believes what he is preaching, but Roberston, I am convinced, is a cynical, dyed-in-the-wool con artist.

highest authority that Pat Robertson has been trying desperately to distract us from the obvious fact that he is the cause of all our problems on the planet in this century.

He doth project his truthiness, this scourge and pox upon us all.

At least, in insurance company terms.

God may work in mysterious ways, but trying to let Him off the hook? Pat is senile.
