(12,448 posts)and one person simply cannot do that much work. Of course, we have no precise definition of rich, nor elbow grease for that matter.
For example, a mechanic can become rich but not by simply being a mechanic (unless you know of a mechanic that can charge $1,000 an hour and stay busy at that rate for several years). He can open his own garage and hire other mechanics and then open another garage and so on, but then we're back to buying another person's elbow grease cheap and reselling it for more.
$50 an hour, full time generates a gross income of a little over $100,000 a year, not bad but far from rich, and $50 an hour is about the top of the elbow grease wage range.
Perhaps you would be a little more forthcoming with what you have in mind?
