Mittens plans major economic speech at Ford Field where Detroit Lions play

(He doesn't expect to fill the stadium, does he?)

Mitt Romney "is now set to deliver an economic speech at Ford Field -- where the Detroit Lions play -- on Feb. 24," First Read reports.

"You don't create a setting like that unless you have something new to say. Don't be surprised if this economic speech is used to make a better sale with conservative voters."

Believe or not, the vast majority of workers in SE Michigan do not work in the auto industry.

Should be close enough for the wingers on the west coast to make it. I reckon the UAW will be able to get more bodies out to give Mittens a very special hello.

I think the stadium is going to be 99% empty. Unless his SuperPAC is supplying brats and beer for the occasion.

All with the quote "Let Detroit Go Bankrupt ~ Mitt Romney". Maybe have the Goodyear Blimp do some fly-overs with that message plastered on the side while Mittens addresses the crowd. Wouldn't that be fun?

CEO/Governor?
No F_ing Way!

The stencils I use and the poster boards I use work with 3 short lines pretty well, they end up being all caps but I didn't want to do that here due to the "shout" factor.

16. well, his plan is probably little boots failed plan

but, you see, little boot's needed to do more of the same failure. that's why the economy blew up under little boots. He should have made sure there were absolutely no regulation, so those global corporations could come here unhampered. And absolutely no labor laws or safety-yeah, that'll bring them. And little boots still made the worthy wealthy pay some tax; so, the wealthy shouldn't pay any tax, being so worthy and all, and then they'll spend that money on slave jobs.

Of course, since he was in the business to destroy US companies and send the jobs somewhere else, he may just say "screw the workers here, the only ones who count are my base", kind of like little boots did.
