Apple's tax evasion is entirely legal and consistent with the broad goals of capitalism and the ethics of greed. What could possibly be more American than that?

So I smarmily and smugly buy Android and Win-based things.

But at least my smarminess and smugosity aren't supporting tax dodgers and child laborers!

As far as I know.

And I ain't looking very far.

smarminess and smugosity.

I'll go even further because I have a TracFone (I don't really need a super phone). Also, I like the term 'smugosity'.

If we stopped buying products based on who pays their fair share of taxes, I'd imagine there wouldn't be many products left to purchase.

Their desktops and notebooks are NOT the best on the market, so I would spend money elsewhere there.

And Samsung has produced a phone on par with the iPhone.

But there's nothing that compares to the iPod or iPad on the market, despite what people try to tell you.

But I don't expect them to pay more taxes than legally required. That would simply make their products more expensive.
