Test For Separation Of Church And State

The contraceptive debate or whatever it is turning into is a test for the separation of church and state. If we allow religions to dictate what public policy is, then we give up the reason the country was founded in the first place.

This fight is the first battle on the matter of whether we become a theocracy or not. The RW sees this election as their chance to take over the government.

When I was in Kentucky in 2008 where I took my mother in law to be buried out of her former church I witnessed the preacher of her Baptist church make the case for an entire hour that because the currency says "In God We Trust" that this is a Christian nation and that his congregation had the obligation to make it so. That Columbus decided to convert America when he embarked on his voyage. Columbus was responsible for horrendous rape, genocide and murder as well as slavery. He was a Christian. It was amazing
to hear this preacher's version of history. And this dictum is being preached all over the South and in the North as well.
We are at a turning point in this country. The GOP core believes they have found their man in Santorum.

I realize that religion is supposed to be taboo here. I understand that. But we now have a campaign where religion has been directly injected into the public dialogue. And we have bishops and clergy demanding public policy bend to their narrow religious beliefs. I simply do not know how you separate the two at this time.

Like uppity Amish. Dont forget the Mormons, who because or their making America Jerusalem Squared, are positioned to trumpet American Exceptionalism to the heavens.

Yes, from Santorum, to Romney, certainly Bachmann with Newt even going sanctimonious, theocracy is making a push.

I am a Christian, that is sickened by the injection of Jesus into politics. He fought like hell to dispel that notion. Even got nails thru his extremities for it.

And the guys that snitched him out, were what could be called Jewish exceptionalism theocrats. Not that Rome was more worthy.

Now, they are called zionists. And ours are identical. Two peas in a pod.

God told the Irsaelites to kill every man, woman and child, beast of the indigenous peoples. They refused, and got Arabs, so the tale goes. We learned the lesson, and slaughtered, and then continued the genocide on our indigenous peoples.

That theocratic Christians want to genocide the atheists and general agnostics, is no joke, and will be justified by the New Testament rewrite that is coming. They are acting to expunge all reference to social justice, and compassion.

These are dark days ahead, if we do not slam the door on the treasonous fools in activist churches.

TAX THEM for their partisanship.
