The answer: It depends. Some were buried in debris. Others were carried away by their owners.
When the ones that were buried in debris are found, they'll be put aside somewhere, I'm sure. Nobody's there looking for guns. They're looking for survivors. Next, they'll be looking for bodies.
It's not a serious question at all. It's an irrelevant question.
