I haven't see this posted, yet, but maybe it was, earlier. But, for anyone who hasn't heard, we've lost another great musician.
From Huffington Post:
Ray Manzarek, most known as a founding member of the '60s rock band The Doors, is dead. According to a message posted on the band's Facebook page, Manzarek died of bile duct cancer while in Rosenheim, Germany, on Monday, May 20. He was 74. Wife Dorothy Manzarek and brothers Rick and James were by his side.

(39,313 posts)My favorite song always changes with them. But this one is always in my noggin. RIP, you made this little 10-year-old girl keep on playing. I wanted to quit piano (had played since I was 5) and my father sat me down and made me listen. It was wonderful. Ray Manzarek is one of the few reasons I cry about going deaf, but luckily every note he has ever played is seared in my brain.
Not sure how to post a video. The song is Peace Frog.
