Readout of the President’s Call with Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin

This evening the President spoke with Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin to express his concern for those who have been affected by the severe weather beginning last night and continuing today. While information is still coming in, the President made clear that his Administration, through FEMA, stands ready to provide all available assistance as the Governor’s team responds to the storm and that he has directed his team to ensure that they are providing available resources as the response unfolds. FEMA has deployed an Incident Management Assistance Team to the state emergency operations center in Oklahoma City to support state and local officials on the ground and additional personnel and resources stand ready to be dispatched as necessary. The President told Governor Fallin that the people of Oklahoma are in his and the First Lady’s thoughts and prayers and, while his team will continue to keep him updated, he urged her to be in touch directly if there were additional resources the Administration could provide.

but a bigger part knows that Fallin is a seditious low-life who has scored lots of political points by hating the president out loud. That bigger part reads this and comes dangerously close to . Why does the president have to treat filthy scum like Fallin and Perry like they're human?

There is a lot I disagree with him about - he's way too conservative for my tastes but I have do not doubt that he's a better person than 99.9% of Republicans.

His concern is for the people who have been hurt by these tornados and he's not going to let any animosity he may feel for Fallin get in the way. And, if Fallin has half a brain (doubtful), she'll borrow a page from Christie's playbook and put the needs of her state ahead of scoring political points with McConnell, Boehner and the rest of those jerks.

worked and voted for him? We get to watch him get trashed by the filth day in and day out, then call them with kind words when the climate change they insist isn't real clobbers the. Then as thanks to those who voted him in, he announces he wants to cut SS benefits.

TELL ME AGAIN HOW THIS IS HELPING ME OR THE COUNTRY

and when we help some of us, we help all of us.

As Wellstone often said, "We all do better when we all do better."

People like Fallin and Perry and everyone who votes for them are enemies of America. Being nice to someone who honestly wants you dead, and will continue to want you dead after you've sent a billion dollars to her state, is foolish.

A few weeks ago he put SS on the bargaining table. He's very good at schmoozing the people who despise him. He treats a lot of his voters like dog shit.

when he put ss on the bargaining table he knew full well it wasn't going to be used. His intention, I'll always believe, was to show the people that no matter what he offered they weren't going to do it because it was something that he showed an interest in. You don't seem to see it for what it is, I'm sorry. I guess you are going to believe in what you want and fine with me just don't try to convince me to agree with you.

People are dying and he is responsible for dealing with the aftermath. It would be very coldblooded to be thinking about politics right now.
