Question for environment/structural engineers, could some type of natural structures be placed

to breakup the funnel winds from forming?

Having lived in the midwest for sometime we always wondered about the function of hugh mounds built by early native peoples. I always believed they had something to do with weather control/modification.

I believe something to break the winds flow is needed. A hundred mile long spoke of trees(sort of like a giant crop circle). Picture a wagon wheel with planted trees for spokes, these could be placed randomly from the Gulf to the Great Lakes.

Think about it.

with warm moisture rich air from the Gulf of Mexico. The truth is that the Gulf is overfished, overdrilled, and overspilled.

and they've even had funnel clouds here up in the mountains away from populated areas.

If a mountain won't stop it, nothing we build will.
