1. IMO, so far I haven't seen anything truly convincing either way.

If you notice most of the back and forth here on DU is based on partial assumptions. I don't think anyone's wrong, per se, but I'm not entirely sure anyone's right. It's a really odd development, IMO.

I have been trying to figure out whether it was her idea alone to apologize or if she was told to do it by someone else. I also want to know why she did not address how left leaning groups were flagged, in fact she pretended to not even know. I don't trust her, but I am still unsure of the behind the scenes politics or what her motivations are.

9. yes, she is described as apolitical and that her sband is involved with dems

supposedly she is involved herself with a charity (Humane Society) and is a liberal. Reading of some of the right wing rags, it is being said that Carl Levin was pushing her to go after Tea Party groups. It's all very strange. She had an opportunity to give congress this info just two days before she arranged to have the question asked at a tax meeting. She was scheduled to be given some type of award today. However it was also reported that she is out of the country and has lawyer-ed up.

About a quarter had Tea Party in the name. 75 out of 300. Did the Republicans blow this up into targeting?
