As some of you may know, we brought a four year old Filipina into our lives in early December. She is adapting remarkably well and speaks English better than most anti immigration teabaggers, even though she's only been here since December. Anyway, Friday is "show and share" day at her pre school and she decided to bring a book of ABC's with a lot of pictures.
Just for the heck of it, we were looking through the book before we left this morning and we came across the letter F and the accompanying picture was one of an American flag. So my wife asked her, "What is the picture?" Tiffany replied loudly, "Obama!" The wife and I just burst out laughing because there may be some symbolism there. Besides that, it was just funny.
Now I admit, there is a possibility that I may have influenced her thinking since I started chanting "Obama Obama Obama!" during the inauguration and she tends to repeat everything I say. We are trying to raise her the correct way. Thank you for indulging me and I'm sorry if anyone was bored with this post. I'm just one of those idiotic daddys who is proud of his daughter and brags her up a lot.
