from the Lethbridge Herald:
At Berlusconi's bunga bunga parties, women cross-dressed as Obama, not just sexy nuns, nurses
MILAN - Silvio Berlusconi's private disco featured women dressed not just as sexy nuns and nurses but also as President Barack Obama and a prominent Milan prosecutor the former Italian premier has accused of persecuting him.
Those are some of the details that have emerged Friday during the first public sworn testimony by the Moroccan woman at the centre of the sex scandal involving Berlusconi.
Karima el-Mahroug testified Friday at the trial of three former Berlusconi aides charged with recruiting her and other women for prostitution. They deny the charges. The trial is separate from the one in which Berlusconi is charged with paying for sex with a minor - el-Mahroug when she was 17 - and trying to cover it up.

(85,998 posts)It's a silly post playing on the women at his club cross dressing as Obama, for shitsakes. Or, is there some deeper point to your query? Always questioning and questioning with this DU community. I thought it was a good departure from the serious for me. I guess I better go and re-read my message board operating manual.

(85,998 posts). . . it's, perhaps, a lurid tale, but it was reported in the first hyperlink I provided that women at his club were dressed as Obama and his political rival.

Silly, maybe, to put any focus on this at all, but I'm not sure why you feel the need to make it into some moral competition or judgment on me for posting it. You usually make good points, but you're straining here to cast an aspersion on me for posting this titillating report.
The inference from the headline I created was clear: Did Berlusconi 'bunga-bunga (not my word, but, a phrase used to describe parties at his club) with 'Obama'. Fair question, I think, considering it was his club.
I really doubt you care a wit about the report; much more gratifying, it seems, for you to come onto this thread with some sort of judgmental response.
No matter, this is mostly lounge stuff, anyway. Less instinct to shame there.

(110,159 posts)you have a whole scenario going on here. that would be your assuming.
i asked a simple fuckin question. i did not see your first link. i read your second link. no mention of obama. hence my wtf....
you seem to be the one spending an incredible amount of time ignoring what i am saying and creating your own interpretation of my motivation.
let it go... have a good weekend.

(85,998 posts)You 'ignored what i posted and jumped to a completely wrong conclusion that it wasn't in the article. The link you referenced clearly said read 'more'.
More to the point, NOTHING in this post invited the comparison between what you might 'giggle' at vs. what I might giggle at. It really would have better to have adequately read the post before stretching to make such a nonsensical and insulting judgment.
