Tea Party groups boycotting Fox News for being too liberal
May 16, 2013

Fox News is known throughout the country as the conservative news network, heavily pandering toward the far right of the political spectrum. While most Americans can recognize that Fox News is the "Republican channel," not all conservatives are buying it.
According to the Daily Beast, Tea Party groups boycotted Fox News this past week, lasting from Thursday through Sunday. The reason for the boycott is that many within the Tea Party believe that Fox News has not spent enough time on the alleged Benghazi conspiracy. While reports show that Fox News has not only spent most of their coverage on the situation in Benghazi, they have also twisted facts in order to promote the conspiracy.
The leader of the Fox News boycott, Kathy Amido, provided the Daily Beast with their new website titled "Benghazi Truth." The website states that Fox News has moved to the left, thus becoming more liberal in an attempt to make more money.
The Daily Beast also notes that Tea Party groups have done this in the past, but haven't had much success in doing so.
