Does the President appoint the next Commissioner of IRS ?

And do they have to be approved by Congress?

Would the Republicans hold up the nomination if they don't get someone that is friendly to the games played by the Tea Party and the Republicans?

Will they be able to find someone to fix the IRS?

responsibility of Republicans ...

When you consider that they have had the power to stop ALL nominations by filibuster.

Anybody they didn't want, got filibustered. Anybody that they approved didn't get filibustered, but didn't get a Repug vote.
