The tombstone of democracy will read “The Bullies Won”
O Benghazi was/is bullshit.O The IRS “scandal” is probably due to over zealous lower level employees.
O The AP “scandal” is exactly what congress demanded so as to “find the leakers.”
But none of that matters. In politics, the only “reality” is perceived reality. And given the current perceived reality in Washington, the GOP is holding all the cards. Can impeachment hearings be far off?
The GOP bullies are in their glory and the champagne corks are popping for them. Too bad for the rest of us that reality is so flimsy. My guess is that the current situation will favor the Republicans in next year’s congressional elections. And if so, democracy will take another big hit.
Sigh.
