Apparently, Obummer proclaimed April 28, 2013, Worker's Memorial Day, in honor of American workers who lost their lives on the job.

Pfffffffffft. Just like a socialist to side with the workers.

In his agenda-laden proclamation, Obama dares praise the American worker as driven and effective -- the most talented in the world, even.

They raise skyscrapers, transport goods to market, and manufacture products that are the envy of the world. Together, they form the backbone of our economy. Yet tragically, thousands of American workers die on the job each year, and millions more suffer work-related injuries or illnesses. At the turn of the 20th century, laborers faced hazardous conditions. Factory doors were locked from the outside, which prevented quick evacuation in emergencies. There is another thing that really bothers me about this man....he was forced to retire as a Lt COL....not a COL. My husband is a COL in the Army, just got promoted a couple of months back....he has worked very hard and deserves his rank, if I do say so myself. It makes me very angry that everyone calls him a COL....he's not. Now, a person should be proud of the rank that they have, they should not embellish their rank.

OK, the rant is off, I have noticed that everyone calls him Lt COL and it's wrong, but I also think that he should not have been allowed to retire as a Lt COL....but what the hell do I know...
