I Am So Pissed Off At The Main Stream Media

Charles Ramsey freed four people from a life of hell.

He's a bit of an unlikely hero to some and he doesn't look like Denzel Washington so lets dig into his past and parade all his sins for all the world to see.

It makes me sick.

Charles, you still did the right thing and I hope you will never regret it.

And once he gets himself some teeth and a haircut and a sharp cut suit, he's a fine looking feller. He has a gift of gab, and a pleasant demeanor. If he's made mistakes in his past, they are well behind him.

He's gonna be just fine, I think. I think plenty of people want to hear more from him.

Look at Shoshanna Johnson and look at Jessica Lynch.
Look who the media made a star
and look who deserved to be.

It's as obvious as those that thought the 1950s were perfect in America and want to go back to those times.

Whether it's reporting is inaccurate or they just outright lie, to ostracizing people like Ramsey - I have no respect for them. I never know what to believe so I take everything with a grain of salt. Most especially their reporting during the Sandy Hook shooting in the early hours of it happening, I felt like they were making up things as they went along for the sake of ratings. It's ok to say you don't know anything yet, you shouldn't just make stuff up. I would respect them a lot more if they just told the truth and said they didn't know anything yet or wanted to confirm their sources before spreading lies and mislead us all.

I think the big reason some people are suspicious and get into conspiracy theories is mostly because the media a lot of times has a new story which contradicts the previous story they report. I'm sure there are good journalists who report facts, but how can you tell anymore? I'm just left with not trusting any of them.

What is happening with Ramsey, I've seen it before. As I always say, no good deed goes unpunished. I hope he can keep his head up high because he did nothing wrong and his past should not be a factor AT ALL.

The more this happens, the more it discourages some people from doing the right thing. I know it's no excuse, I would do it anyway, but some people just wouldn't want the hassle, as selfish as that sounds. I on the other hand would be able to sleep at night if I just ignored what I should have reported.

What. You mean wow I wouldn't have expected a black person could be so selfless? We shouldn't have to add "don't judge a book by its cover.".

There are plenty of online sources that don't treat the news like Entertainment Tonight. Respect your brain: can the cable news.

He invented most of the story. A Spanish-speaking immigrant got Amanda out and took her into another house across the street to call 911. Ramsey didn't get involved until after that. I agree, however, that his past is no one's business. He's not a public figure.

to make them think twice about helping someone. What if someone thinks "I better not get involved because I have some bad stuff in my background." Now, this guy doesn't seem to be the one who freed the woman, but that isn't why the media is digging in to him. They are doing so because they are fucking busybodies that can't be bothered to cover real news.

If a reporter puts a microphone in your face, the proper response is "No Comment".. you do not offer your name or your "story"..

If you answer their questions, your are now part of the "event", and your every detail in life will be divulged.

If they want to investigate something, find out what happened at Castro's house, about potential police foul ups, or about the other girls who went missing in the area.

As a survivor of childhood abuse, I "know" what happened to them.. It should be THEIR choice to tell, and to whom, and when...and maybe even IF.... The LAST people who should be told are the blabbermouth media..

Because the other guy said so?

Why not watch and read Ramsey giving account of what happened and quote specific things "he invented", instead of making such a blanket statement based on what the other guy's said?

Seems they've gone from merely reporting news to actually making the news more exciting by embellishing every story into more than it actually is.
I've basically stopped watching main stream media and tune into just my local news for a half hour a day.
FOX is the journalistic equivalent of professional wrestling.(We report, you decide)
CNN has become just too redundant telling the same story over and over again.

17. The biggest threat to America and to the Democrats
Thu May 9, 2013, 06:48 AM

is the MSM. It is corporate-controlled, even msnbc. The MSM controls the narrative. Every channel talks about how we are going to cut the debt. msnbc just talks about it with a liberal slant. There are no channels that talk about how we are going to do another stimulus Bill. Last night every channel talked about Benghazi. Liberal Democrats can't pass their agenda because they are beaten down by the corporate-controlled MSM. Where was the coverage of all of the people who marched on Washington to protest the Keystone pipeline? Where was msnbc? It is getting worse. The internet is getting taken over by monitors and trolls. Huff Post is a good example, it has been taken over by AOL, a CPAC sponsor. 1984 is upon us, thank god for sites like DU.
