I live in the second-largest city in my state, so I'm not "out in the middle of nowhere". Before the new plans, I had perfect reception every single day. Now? I'm lucky if I get one or two bars. At first I thought a cell tower went faulty, it's been that bad. Nope- bad for every T-Mobile customer I know, no matter where they are. I don't know what happened to them.

and have had no problems. I guess they figured out who to selectively screw.

All the mobile phone companies are stooges and ripoffs, it's just a matter of which one you want to mess with you.

Likely a tower problem or they gained more subscribers in your area.

Try updating your phone's PRL (preferred roaming list), the instructions which tell the handset which towers to connect to.

at the last place I worked, it would fail to deliver any speed at all. At my new location I get 6 meg downloads and 1.5 up. I think some towers are overloaded with all the smart phones.
