Christian education is under attack in America as never before. Yesterday on this website, we highlighted the plight of the Romeikes, a German Christian family who is seeking asylum in America because the German government forbids their homeschool instruction. The Obama Administration is siding with the German government and its view of homeschooling, and they are seeking to deport this family who wants to educate their children in accord with God’s Word. If the U.S. Attorney General succeeds in denying their asylum, it may have chilling ramifications for religious and educational liberties in the United States.
Today, we bring your attention to another attack on Christian education. A Christian K–12 school in South Carolina, with dedicated and highly qualified Christian teachers,1 has come under vicious attack by atheists. Why? Because one of its instructors, a fourth-grade teacher, tested her children about biblical creation, science, and dinosaurs (using AiG resources), and she has become (in)famous on many atheist websites and blogs.
The atheist buzz about the dinosaur-and-Bible quiz, however, is not really all that surprising. Over the past few years, we have seen atheists becoming more aggressive and intolerant towards Christians. (See the sidebar for just a few of the many examples we could cite.) They are attempting to impose their belief system (yes, their religion) on the culture.
It seems that since the last presidential election, atheists have grown more confident about having something of a license to go after Christians. These secularists want to impose their anti-God religion on the culture. They are simply not content using legislatures and courts to protect the dogmatic teaching of their atheistic religion of evolution and millions of years in public schools. There is something else on their agenda: they are increasingly going after Christians and Christian institutions that teach God’s Word beginning in Genesis.

He sells crap under the disguise of religion and pretends he is holy than thou for doing it. He doesn't even approach the meaning of the word Christian. He knows it is worthless junk he is selling but it makes him bucks. No real Christian thinks attacking people like him is attacking Christianity. The dude is the all bottom line. The sad thing is when you attack him it helps him sell his crap to the people who desperately want to believe. If only more religious leaders would outright denounce these for-profit huskers 
I believe Ken Ham's books, videos, speaking tours and museum have nothing to do with religion. It has to do with him making money. This is not a real Christian or a real religious issue. It's an economic issue. When people make fun of that test they are attacking Ken Ham's ability to make a buck. I am not saying really anything about religion. My own bet is Ken doesn't really give a flying crap about religion. He is making a buck. Letters like the one in the thread sell not to Christians that aren' t old Earth Creationist, not to atheist who wouldn't give a anyways. It sells to his base. The people he's already selling to. It is a constant problem, attack Ham and old Earth creationist you can help them do what it is they really want to do, make a buck.
I contend to isn't a real religious matter, It is an economic matter and the Ken Ham's of the world really only care about making money. My proof. Heck I've read enough con artist material and that letter is classic bait material.
If you want to treat Ken Ham as a serious theologian, more power to you. Me I see him as no different then the guys selling climate denial, or any other junk science. Just an honest scam artist making an easy earned buck or two. They he does it under the cloak of religion (when he needs it to be religion) and science (when he needs it to be science) hey that's just good business. 
They are homeschooling all their fundy kids with this kind of crap. 
We got one of their "educational" catalogs in the mail by mistake once. Fucking frightening.

Ken Ham is an ignorant buffoon.
Should flat earthers get equal time? How about people who think the Earth is the center of the universe? Technically, the theory of a heliocentric universe is still "just a theory."
What about holocaust deniers? Eugenics?
The idea of sending out a long itinerary sounds good, but then they would have to send it out every single day. The south still is trying to convince kids the civil war was about states right and northern aggression. Almost every class has some controversy. Mark Twains Huck Finn in english/reading classes. Contraceptives in health/sex ed class. Evolution in science, Big Bang (and now electricity) in physics, and all of art.
And of course 90%* of the american people probably think higher death row inmates than any math class 
A better way is just for parents to take an interest in what their kids learned on a day by day basis.
That's what it's really about according to a couple of fundy friends on FB and what they've linked. So, yeah, I side with the Obama administration on that--educate your kids right on sex, and they're far more likely to act in accordance with the faith. Been there, done that, have the Christian college scars to prove it.
So, con man Ham, it's not about you. 
We're not bigots. We're just shocked anyone would want their kids learning nonsense and scoring 100% on a test on this nonsense.
