and the wireless systems better able to handle the information traffic, before I would depend on them totally for healthcare. Imagine a dropped call in the middle of an urgent echo cardiogram.

(758 posts)6. Very cool. I know there's already a movement that's pushing toward patient centered care, which
empowers patients to be more involved in managing their healthcare, since patients are currently the most under utilized resource. The only down side I see, which is seems inevitable in this high tech age, is job loss. In other words, there go all sorts of med tech and office support jobs, not to mention nurses, even doctors and others.
