Dude hasn't been found guilty or pleaded guilty, yet.

I've seen him referred to the "bomber" too often - even in the media - and we seem to be forgetting that Jahar is innocent until proven guilty.

As a former crime reporter, assuming guilt AND using "plead" for "pleaded" are two pet peeves of mine.

I understand if you don't use the word, "pleaded." I really only get rankled about that when a news reporter uses, "plead," instead. The average person might not know courtroom parlance.

However, you SHOULD know that, in this country, people are innocent until proven guilty. Jahar Tsarnaev is accused of a crime. He has not been found guilty. Hell, he may have done NOTHING but drive his brother to the marathon that day OR the FBI may have misunderstood some photos. Who know? None of us... until he's tried or admits it to a judge.

And asked if CNN had jumped the shark.

If I remember correctly. Apologies if I don't.
