Footage of the ride the Solid Rocket Boosters took from lift-off to jettison to splashdown.

I just assumed they were jettisoned into the ocean and forgotten like yesterday's Chinese bottle rockets, yet I learn they were recovered and reused many times.

came back down was pretty haunting, like whale songs. I wonder if vehicles in space make noises like that as they heat and cool - pretty creepy if they do...
