the media time given to these gadflies keeps everything pulled to the right. Who is often quoted from the Democrats - not even Pelosi. She is usually mentioned when the RW has a jab for her.

somewhere "on the internet" that each of these folks has an agent who fronts for them and tries to get them on shows. He makes himself available and had a PR firm to push that agenda. Keeps the MSM from having to actually go out and look for someone. Soooooo lazy

the people that are on TV a lot, without apparent reason, are the people that most aggressively push to get on TV. And by the way, Joe Biden was one of those people before he became VP.
