Sequester isn't just affecting travellers on airlines

It's also affecting deliveries ie: UPS and FedEx. I've seen several instances of deliveries being delayed due to the flight delays. UPS seems to call them 'adverse weather' on their website, but this happens in areas when there IS NO ADVERSE WEATHER. Turns out it's flight delays that are the problem. They apparently don't have another description for this in their system.

Great. As if UPS wasn't unreliable enough.

True. But you can't force shippers to use USPS. Triana Apr 2013 #4

Especially for overseas. I get my mail forwarded from Oregon to South Korea and it normally take about 11 days. I guess the next time I better figure closer to 2 1/2 or 3 weeks.

Most congressman don't care about the poor and they only care now because THEY have to wait around at the airport and THEIR time is so valuable. THEY might miss a few hours of THEIR every other week vacation.

Many won't. Some give the option (and charge more to use USPS). But some just won't use it.
