I have my birth certificate from California (which took two months to arrive when I moved to New Jersey from Washington State. So that's 4 points.
My bank card is 1 point.
My Social Security card would be 1 point and would give me the 6 points I need to replace my driver's license... if I hadn't hid it in a place I wouldn't lose it...
You need your driver's license to get your Social Security card. You need your Social Security card to get your driver's license.
The only way I could get my driver's license was to exploit a crack in their system. Since the company I worked for this past few months paid me under the table I applied for welfare so I could get an ID card from them. I told the person who started my paper work that I'd be back on Friday with my driver's license. (True.) The person who created my photo ID thought I'd given proof of my ID. (Will be true come Friday.)
Now everyone is happy. But what do I do with $200.00 worth of food stamps? (Actually, I'll tell them I found a job and don't need them.)

(12,799 posts)I let my license expire and goodness knows what happened to that paper social security card that was issued sometime long ago. I think it just disintegrated over time.
My father accompanied me to the SS office to vouch for my identity. That with my birth certificate got me a new SS card. It was an interesting adventure in un-personhood.
