Rand Paul shows why Obama's drone policy is so important

a lot of people base their acceptance of Obama's policy solely in their trust in his judgement. This is a huge mistake. As many people have pointed out, Obama is setting precedents for future presidents.

Now Rand Paul has laid out his own understanding on when and when not to use drones. The situation he chooses to illustrate when he is OK with drones: liquor store robberies!

Remember: Rand Paul is running for President.

“Here’s the distinction, I have never argued against any technology being used against having an imminent threat an act of crime going on,” Paul said. “If someone comes out of a liquor store with a weapon and fifty dollars in cash I don’t care if a Drone kills him or a policeman kills him, but it’s different if they want to come fly over your hot tube, or your yard just because they want to do surveillance on everyone, and they want to watch your activities.”

Got something to hide? So he doesn't care if a cop blows away a criminal or a drone does he? Sound like a Prick Perry move!

Why can't the cop or drone say, 'drop your weapon and put your hands in the air!' or does Rand just like the idea of killing people? I think he likes the idea of killing people.

you see how the right works now! first he's demanding they use them ;now he is demanding they stop! who gives this drone any credence? he has about as much following as "george wallace" did in the ole days! run dirt, squawk loud and accomplish nothing! hmmm well now that pretty much explains the right! they only thing they really do well is over spend and rack up deficits! just one example is "dick cheney" he went on record saying deficits don't matter! then he broke the bank!

"they only thing they really do well is over spend and rack up deficits!"

When it comes to deficits, liberals and Democrats (ironically) have been closer followers of the definition of being conservative, whether it was Clinton's presidency that gave us a surplus, Jerry Brown wiping out the deficit here in CA., or Obama steadily lowering the deficit and unemployment created under his predecessor.
These people on the Right, such as GWB and Rand Paul, are pseudo-conservatives. They're nothing but regressives and reactionaries.
