I'm perfectly happy to wait until this shakes out and we learn a LOT more about what motivated these two little bastards, but right now, for me at least, some nefarious Al Qaeda terrorist connection appears unlikely.

(22,144 posts)such as sources of funds, where did the guns come from, and knowledge of explosives. They got it somewhere and all of it could not have from the internet. Delays in getting that information out will launch a 1000 conspiracy theories and lots of Glen Beck shows.
I really don't know what to believe about other cells and outside support. I too am doubtful, but am willing to wait for it settle out.

(22,144 posts)The guns were clearly illegal in MA. Mandatory background checks (which I support) might have deterred an out of state seller unless they were already stolon.
I have not seen circuit board based explosive timers documented online and it certainly is not in the Anarchist Cookbook.
Like I said, massive opportunity for conspiracy theories, Glen Beck, and general woo.
