Newtown Victims' Families Slam Senators For Gun Control Failure


Family members of three Newtown victims appeared on CBS' Face The Nation to discuss this week gun control failure. A Senate bill to expand gun background checks on Wednesday failed to gain the 60 votes needed to pass.

"It's not about the second amendment, it's strengthing and adding to laws that arleady in effect," said Neil Heslin, whose son Jesse Lewis was killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School. "I don't think they did justice for all the victims of Newtown."

Heslin said the most discouraging part of the week was seeing how lawmakers voted.

"It's a political game, there was nothing bipartisan about it all," he said. .................(more)

Can't they see the heartbreak? Don't they want to help him? I just don't understand that kind of ugly.
