How are your friends? I was thinking of those who were witnesses, in the vicinity.

I was robbed at gunpoint once, and unbeknownst to me until a while later, it really made fundamental changes to my mind/body/psyche.

If a person made a movement similar to the guy pulling the gun, I'd immediately go into fight or flight (not a conscious thing, it was like my subconscious/body took over). If someone came up behind me while I was walking down the street, my heart would accelerate and I'd flatten myself against the wall or step out of the way. Things like that. I was thinking that soooooooo many people will have to deal with this assault in so many ways. It is so sad.

I have been at the beginning, middle and the end of the race many times.

We cheer their excellence, Cha. We don't know them, yet we stand and clap our hands. We root them on.

A proud and beautiful sight.

to explain the FEELING you have with everyone involved. I'd imagine it is almost as though you are all one, if that makes any sense. All sharing the joy, excitement, hope.

Next year will be extra special.
