Am I the only one tired of the nonstop media frenzy and social media judging & jury? There was a

time when clear heads prevailed, people wanted facts & the entire story before rushing to judgement.

Be afraid, be very afraid that the very thing we look at with disdain is alive and well in the places which ordinarily demand scrutiny, evidence and proof beyond a shadow of a doubt.

Mob mentality is in full swing.

My heart goes out to the victims, and I hope the 19 year old they haven't found yet lives long enough to speak.
I'm from Mass. and I'm tired of what's on display here and elsewhere. We are better than this, even when we mourn for victims of heinous acts and criminality. Let's show that side.

sick of it. all conjecture. and we americans are surprised we got bombed. We're one of the most violent cultures in the world. We've blown off the biggest bombs in the history of the planet. and we thought this shit would never turn around on us?

IMO this is just a warmup - a hint of things to come. Nothing to gain becomes nothing to lose in the blink of an eye.

but this has turned into nonstop frenzy.

There are other crimes, there are other happenings, and as of yet we do not have any full story, just bits and pieces.

I don't know about you, but I want the full story and we simply will not have that for some time to come.

All we know is that there's a very dangerous and violent criminal out there.

glad Boston is in a lock-down of sorts. Remember after 911 and since? Bad things happened, hate and fear are precursors to more violence, hate crimes will be on the rise. Things are bad enough already.

People vent anxiety and frustration and other emotions on the Internet all the time. It is not predictive of action.

But, most important thing is that he not harm anyone else.

There's nothing new or unusual about what's going on, not at all. Human nature is what it is and it hasn't changed since ancient times.

The lizard brain in people is in full force. I've seen them post on FB that they want to see torture, slow and painful killing, take them out and publicly execute them and sell tickets and more.

That guy better turn himself in. Unless it's his goal to go out as a martyr now he's toast if civilians get him.
