VIDEO: Uncle Urges Suspect To Turn Himself In, Calls Nephews ‘Losers’

At a Friday morning gathering with reporters, an uncle of the two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings on Friday expressed anger toward his nephews.

Asked what prompted his nephews, 26-year-old Tamerlan Tsarnaev and 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, to carry out the bombings that left three people dead, Ruslan Tsarni was blunt. "Being losers, hatred to those who were able to settle themselves," Tsarni said. "These are the only reasons I can imagine of. Anything else, anything else to do with religion, with Islam, is a fake."

Tsarni acknowledged that he hasn't seen his nephews since 2005, but insisted that his brother and the father of the two suspects, Anzor Tsarnaev, had no role in radicalizing the two men. Anzor Tsarnaev told the Associated Press that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who remains at large, is a "true angel." Tamerlan Tsarnaev was killed in an early Friday morning firefight with police.

Tsarni forecfully urged Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to surrender to authorities and said his nephew brought shame to his family and the Chechnyan people. "I say, Dzhokhar, if you're alive, turn yourself in and ask for forgiveness from the victims, from the injured and from those who left," Tsarni said. "Ask forgiveness from these people."

he was meaning that those who don't take advantage of the opportunities given them are losers.

3. I feel sorry for the families that are unwillingly associated with the culprits

especially if they are immigrants and Muslim. It's hard when you are born American and Christian to know a family member is a dirt bag who has made the news like Christopher Dorner, let alone if you are a member of an ethnic and religious minority whom Americans are suspicious of.

9. He says his brother had no influence, yet his brother just threatened the US to return his

son alive. I guess I can understand that emotion of not wanting to lose both sons, but his insinuation that his sons might have been victims of an american conspiracy seems a little over the top. Not saying the uncle is lying, just that a lot can change in 8 years.

The father warned, however, "If they killed him, then all hell would break loose."

"If they kill my second child, I will know that it is an inside job, a hit job. The police are to blame," the father told ABC News. "Someone, some organization is out to get them."
