Tacoma police bomb experts are investigating a package that appears to be a backpack and refrigerator outside the Planned Parenthood clinic at 813 Martin Luther King Jr. Way, according to police spokeswoman Loretta Cool.
Instead of taking chances, obviously with whats going on in todays world, we are conducting an EOD (explosive ordnance disposal) call out, Cool said. Theyre inspecting it, they might x-ray it.
She said she believed officers had evacuated everyone from the building.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.

Happening in my neighborhood right now. I can hear the helicopters. I am so sick of this.

(13,485 posts)Does a robot "have" to explode it with it's own explosive? Why wouldn't they just have the robot move it or tear it open or just mess with it to see what it is? If it explodes on it's own then it's done. I just don't see the point in adding explosives to detonate explosives... if it ends up being explosives.
