One of two men wrongly branded as the Boston bomber has a message for the world: I didnt do it.
Teenager Salah Barhoums face was plastered on the front of the New York Post Thursday and the tabloid labeled him and a friend Bag Men and reported they were being sought by the authorities investigating the Boston Marathon bombings.
But the dedicated high school track star wasnt in hiding and he wasnt guilty.
I want people to know I wasn't behind this I was just there to watch and enjoy the marathon, like everyone else," said Barhoum, 17, gladly posing for photos and taking media questions outside his home in Revere, Mass.
The only thing they look at is my skin color and since I'm Moroccan I'm kind of dark, he said. Last night I couldn't sleep. Just thinking about the consequences. What are people going to say and what the result is going to be.
