Same problem with the towns all around here...too small to be able to afford a lot of road repair.

think I noticed is how good the roads were even in rural areas. I guess nothing has been done since then.

I hope they have a viable national guard out that way--those first responders must be overwhelmed. That's a huge impact area, ripe for looting, sad to say...and so many injured.

The scenario going through their minds: It's a train derailment. It's a plane. Then, the remote possibly of a bomb.

Although I didn't see much of first responders at the scene, fortunately, it seems like they had easy access to the residential area. I assume the nursing home is across the street from the apartments.

I don't know how the death count can only be 10-15 people with this much destruction?? Devastating. Like an atomic bomb.
