If you check Google and search for
mormon "listen and obey"
you'll see what I mean.
Among the other Google results was this one, from the church's official website:
http://www.lds.org/ldsorg/v/index.jsp?vgnextoid=2354fccf2b7db010VgnVCM1000004d82620aRCRD&locale=0&sourceId=ef148949f2f6b010VgnVCM1000004d82620a____&hideNav=1
Good fathers teach their sons, and good sons listen and obey.

May we fathers teach our sons as the exemplary Book of Mormon fathers taught their sons. And may our sons, like Nephi, listen and obey,
-snip-
So in a way Ann was addressing the crowd as if it was a religious meeting with the purpose being to learn from the Romneys.
I've always thought that religious undercurrent, that quasi-Sunday-school undercurrent, helped explain Romney reciting the lyrics of "America the Beautiful," too. And all his talk about the "soul" of America.

I pretty much only found the discussion about her remarks in DU. I'd like to see the video.

I want to say it was florida, but Ann Romney did the same thing and chided the audience for not being quiet.

She apparently didn't mind Romney's wife telling the crowd to "obey."
I didn't hear that remark from Ann Romney myself -- just read about it later. I saw a number of tweets from different people about it
